Many of the Gutnish games are steeped in history; some can be traced back to the Viking Age. Our multisport competitions combine the best of these ancient traditions with new tricky team exercises such as these local pearls: ‘Spark bläistre’ is a game where crossed ropes are placed on the feet of the competitors and the goal is to knock the opponent off balance and pull them to the ground. A very tactical contest. ‘Caber Toss’ where a pole is thrust as far as possible from a crouched position ‘Stone Varpa’ where stone discs are thrown at a target, similar to the game of boules. Others include the Magic Square and ‘Bulhusbygge’ or ‘bole’-house construction, which is a method of house building using a post-and-plank method. The Gutnish Multisport package is a more modest package in terms of competitiveness but makes up for it by being instilled with Gutnisk sporting traditions and testing team activities. Duration: 2.5–3 hours

Just north of Visby, our Team Building Course is beautifully located in the forest between two billowing meadows and with the Baltic Sea as its closest neighbour. Scattered amongst the groves of the forest, the course is both a well-liked activity and a natural outdoor experience. The course is a very exciting activity where teams compete against each other via cooperation exercises. Along a winding forest trail, several appealing exercises stations lie in wait which include, amongst other things, the Tally-Board that puts demands on the participants’ ability to cooperate while simultaneously completing mathematical tasks.  Another, The Scales, tests the participants’ balance and requires an accumulative score from all members of the team. All participants compete according to their own abilities.
